Freelance writing might be what comes to mind when most people think of freelancing but there are many other opportunities for freelancers as well, some of which combine freelance writing with other endeavors and some that don't include freelance writing at all. Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is another area where freelancers abound as virtually anyone can become an Internet marketer. Some freelance writers become Internet marketers and instead of writing for clients, they may write ebooks or something similar and market them, while retaining copyright and byline for themselves. Other freelancers may not create any products at all but simply promote the products of others. This is called affiliate marketing and it has more than a healthy following. Although anyone can become an instant entrepreneur by getting involved in Internet marketing, to be truly successful takes time and a tremendous amount of hard work.
